Stunt Dirt Bike Walkthrough
Stunt Dirt Bike is easily one of the best BMX games online simply because it is challenging without being complicated of loaded down with a lot of extra features. Anyone, regardless of skill or experience level in the BMX game genre, can play this game. When compared with many of the other BMX games online, there really isn't anything terribly unique about this one, yet it still manages to feel fresh, new and interesting - not something that can be said about many of the other games in the genre. The basic premise is pretty easy to understand. You have your starting point on the left side of the screen, your finish line on the right side of the screen and a lot of obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty in between. Your goal is to make it from start to finish without crashing. It sounds simple, but it is really anything but.
When you begin in Stunt Dirt Bike, you have two vehicles to choose from; the bike and the ATV. Both vehicles offer their own strengths and weakness and handle obstacles in different ways. For some levels, the bike works better. In other levels, the ATV works better. More experienced BMX game players will have an easier time figuring out which vehicle to use for which level, but newcomers will struggle here. Rest assured that as you play you will be able to get the hang of it. The best way to choose the right vehicle for the level your own is to choose one randomly and try to take it over the course. Look at the obstacles you are encountering and think about the vehicle options you have. Think about the strengths and weaknesses of both vehicles and figure out which vehicle's strengths would work best on the obstacles you're facing.
The greatest strength of the bike you start with in Stunt Dirt Bike is its speed. It's fast but its also relatively easy to control. If you pay close attention to how your bike lands and how it is leaning over obstacles and you should be able to avoid crashing by using the arrow keys for balance. For example, if it looks like you're going to flip backwards, you can often catch yourself by leaning forward quickly. Be careful not to lean forward more than you need to, though. If you do, you'll just flip forward and crash instead of backwards. Sometimes it will be necessary to balance back and forth a few times, but if you're careful and you pay attention, you should be able to do it. The biggest drawback of the bike is that it's very bouncy. That can make keeping your bike steady a little difficult. The ATV, on the other hand, isn't nearly as fast and can be difficult to control, but it's very sturdy. You will have a hard time balancing yourself if you begin to lean, but it can be done. It also isn't bouncy but that can be an advantage if you're going over steep obstacles. As you progress, you'll get a better understanding of what vehicles work best for different obstacles, but for newcomers, that will be a bit difficult in the beginning. A piece of advice - if you're crashing repeatedly on the same obstacle and you've done everything you can think of to try to correct the problem, try changing vehicles. Chances are that will fix the problem.
As you progress in Stunt Dirt Bike, you will unlock new vehicles that perform better throughout all of the levels you encounter. The bike you unlock at level nine, for example, is faster, more stable and easier to control while the ATV you'll unlock at level twelve is also more stable, easier to control and is even a bit faster. It's still not quite as fast as either of the bikes, but the speed boost can definitely help you. When you unlock a new vehicle, take it out on the track and get a feel for how it handles. You may still choose to change vehicles but you'll at least have an idea of how your new vehicle works.
The best way to do well in Stunt Dirt Bike is to take your time. There is no time limit on how long it takes you to complete a track and you have unlimited lives to get through the game. While getting through the game quickly will give you a great score, crashing over and over again is going to hurt your time. Some of the obstacles in the game require a cautious approach. You need to hit them slowly instead of hitting them at top speed. Hit the wrong obstacle with too much speed and you're going to crash. Other obstacles are just the opposite. You need to hit them with a fair amount of speed or you'll crash. Again, knowing the difference at first glance is something you'll learn with experience, but in the beginning, you may have to try a few different things for the different obstacles. It's pretty simple, really. If one approach isn't working, try to go at it a different way.
Overall, Stunt Dirt Bike is a great BMX game for any fan of the genre looking for a challenge. The greatest thing about this game is that it's not terribly complicated. It's all about paying attention and learning from your mistakes. When you crash, try to figure out why you crashed. While you may not have learned how to get over the obstacle, you'll learn at least one way that won't work. Make use of your different vehicles as well. You have them for a reason. More experienced players are going to find this one challenging but not impossible, making it a fun game to kill a little time with. Newcomers to the BMX game genre are going to have a bit more trouble getting the hang of this one right away, but be patient. As you play, you'll improve and will eventually be able to get through the game. If you're a fan of BMX games, you need to put this one on your must-play list. You'll be glad you took the time to give it a shot.
