Blend Rider Walkthrough

Blend Rider is a straightforward motorcycle game. Blend Rider features great graphics, ten achievements, ten levels, and extremely challenging gameplay.

The goal of Blend Rider is to make it to the end of each trial as quickly as possible. There is no time limit nor is there a limit to the number of times that you can crash. If you crash, you will fail the level and have to restart it from the closest checkpoint. If you manage to make it to the end of the level successfully, you will proceed to the next level of this motorcycle game. Your progress is automatically saved, so you may continue from the last unlocked level by clicking the Load Game button on the main menu. You cannot replay previous levels to attempt to better your times, however.

Blend Rider features a minimap in the lower-right corner of the screen. Use this minimap to view what obstacles lie ahead in the course. The minimap is a great addition because it allows players to speed up or slow down based on what lies ahead in the course, unlike most motorcycle games of this type where you must guess or crash and have to remember the course layout.

Blend Rider is a decent motorcycle game, but it does have some flaws. The biggest flaw is that checkpoints and the finish line are not marked at all in the game. It would have been a major improvement had the developers taken the time to mark these important positions on the minimap at least. Another flaw is that after spawning at a checkpoint, the camera has to move to your position. The clock is still running while the camera moves and you are in control of the bike, meaning that if you hold the up arrow you will accelerate and not be able to see where you are going! Finally, although there are three bikes to choose from, they can only be chosen from after crashing and they do not have special attributes.

Blend Rider is not a perfect motorcycle game, but it is still very enjoyable. If you are a bike game addict, then Blend Rider is one that you will want to try.
