Bike Champ Walkthrough
Bike Champ is no easy BMX game. There is a lot to it and that's really what makes it so appealing. Newcomers to BMX games are going to have a hard time making it through the first few levels but it hardly matters with a game this fun. The real enjoyment comes from playing the game; not necessarily just from getting to the end.
Bike Champ is going to be a hard fame for newcomers to BMX games to get the hang of. Even some more experienced players are going to have a hard time getting the hang of some of the more advanced controls involved in this game. The tricks that can be performed are probably going to present the most challenge, but they're also well worth performing. The important thing to remember, though is that tricks are not required. You can get through the game without doing them, but they definitely help your score. For newcomers, start of by just trying to get through the track. Make sure you focus on keeping your bike balanced. In the earlier levels, that can actually be fairly easy as you can usually see where your bike is going to land and prepare for that landing by balancing while still in the air. In later levels, though, you might not always be able to see where you are going to end up in advance. The good thing about this game, though, is that if you pay close attention and always stay ready with your fingers on the arrow keys, you almost always have at least a little bit of a chance to position your bike so it lands on its wheels. This saves you a little bit of scrambling upon landing.
More experienced players are going to love the somewhat complicated tricks Bike Champ offers because it really ups the difficulty level. While many of the later levels pose excellent challenges in themselves, the early levels might be a bit too basic and too simple for the experienced player to feel they're being challenged. Performing tricks like wheelies and 360s definitely makes the game harder and allows the experienced player to get the challenge they're looking for. To properly execute a trick, you'll need to know the keyboard combination you need to use so you don't find yourself fumbling for the right keys. You need to be quick because the opportunity to perform a trick generally doesn't last very long. If you don't give yourself enough room or time to complete the trick or you don't maintain control of your bike before and after the trick, there's a good chance you'll crash. With that said, doing tricks is a great way to get a high score. Keep in mind though, if you crash even once during a level, you don't get the 'no crash' bonus so use caution.
The best way to get through Bike Champ really depends on how much experience you have with BMX games. For newcomers who are really struggling, it's best to take your time and stick with trying to get through each track. Allow yourself to get familiar with keeping control of the bike and doing what you need to do to simply get over the obstacles and get to the other side. Once you have a little more experience under your belt and are feeling a little more comfortable, you can start trying tricks and things like that. Take your time. There is no time limit so don't rush to try to get a good score. When you crash, try to figure out why you crashed and avoid making the same mistakes again. Sometimes the best lessons are learned from your errors. More experienced players, on the other hand, should focus on trying out the tricks and figuring out ways to do tricks as often as possible without being careless. The best way to get a high score is to do lots of tricks throughout each level while still getting that 'no crash' bonus. It can be done and it's not even that difficult as long as you always make sure you have enough time to complete a trick before you even attempt it. Focus on balancing your bike following a trick and you should do fine.
Overall, Bike Champ is one of the most addictive BMX games online simply because it doesn't have to throw a ton of upgrades, bonuses and power ups at you to be fun. Instead, the entertainment value comes from the excellent graphics and the fact that it is a truly challenging game. It can be frustrating at times, but stick with it. You can get through the entire game if you have a little patience and above all else, learn from your mistakes. There is nothing more frustrating than crashing on the same obstacle over and over again only to realize you should've been leaning forward instead of back or the other way around. There isn't a single level in this game that can't be beaten, so don't lose hope. The addition of check points makes the game a lot more enjoyable since crashing does not necessarily mean starting over from the beginning. Regardless of your skill or experience level, if you like BMX games, you need to check this one out.
